About Avan

Avan studied Textile Designing in Mumbai, India at the Nirmala Niketan Institute and worked with fabrics for several years before migrating to Houston, Texas to raise her family.  In India, she focused her natural creativity to fabric designs, working for the textile and garment export industry.  Over the years, she has refocused her artistic talents and energy to paper and canvas and expresses herself in multiple mediums – watercolors, oils, acrylics and charcoal.                                                                                                                                                             More....
